Lisa Zador is an award-winning artist and illustrator based in New York. She specializes in images that have a nostalgic look, reflecting her love of bygone advertising and illustration.

Lisa’s work has been published through many companies, including Graphique de France and Artville/Getty, and has appeared in publications such as Harper’s magazine. In 2002, Stewart, Tabori & Chang published two books of her animal paintings, The Well-Bred Dog and The Well-Bred Cat, as well as two sets of her whimsical, 1950s-inspired note cards: “Babalu” and “Swingin’.”

She has recently created five illustrations for Publix Super markets for their “private label” line of tea. (The packaging campaign won a 2008 ADDY award) and 2 illustrations for their new Pumpkin Pie Ice Cream.

Planet Bubble-Head was conceived and executed exclusively for images.com where you can see the entire portfolio. The colorful illustrations are a lighthearted look at today’s issues, rendered in a simple style that remains true to Lisa’s love of all things retro.
